Passed higher secondary (10+2) examination in any stream (Science, Arts, Commerce, Humanities ect.) from any recognised board such as CBSE, IB, ICSE or equivalent.
Admissions are based on the common Design and Aptitude Test (DAT) conducted across the country in major cities for all NIDs together.
