Joint Entrance Examination JEE Main 2024
Session 1 (January 2025) JEE (Main) 2025:
Online Submission of Application Form: October 10, 2024 to November 11, 2024 (up to 09:00 P.M.)
Last date for transaction of Application Fee: November 22, 2024 (up to 11:50 P.M.)
Announcement of the City of Examination: By First week of January 2025
Dates of Examination: Between 22 January and 31st January, 2025 (Tentative)
Declaration of Results: February 12, 2025
Candidates who have applied and successfully paid the Examination Fee for JEE (Main) 2025 Session 1 and wish to appear for JEE (Main) 2025 Session 2, are required to log in with their previous Application Number and Password as provided in Session 1.
Candidates who have not applied earlier can apply as a fresh candidate for JEE (Main) 2025 Session 2 as per the schedule given. For details, candidates may refer to the Public Notice available on the website.
The Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) comprises two papers.
Paper 1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. JEE (Main) is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs.
Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the country.
Joint Entrance Examination [JEE (Main)] is conducted by NTA from 2019 onwards.
Mode of Examination:
All Papers (Paper 1(B.E. /B. Tech.), Paper 2A(B. Arch), Paper 2B(B. Planning)) are in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only, except the drawing test (Part-III) of Paper 2A will be in pen and paper offline mode.
Medium of Question Papers:
JEE (Main) 2024 is being conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
